Back to the bindweed!

In April it was back to the bindweed! We managed to dig over almost all of the four herbaceous beds and get rid of lots of strong bindweed roots. This will be a huge help to keep the bindweed under control as the weather warms up and it starts to grow through.

We also found that branches of one of the corpus (dogwood) bushes had rooted itself enabling us to create several new ones for winter stem colour.

And Amy treated us to delicious fairy cakes - with a lovely choice of either chocolate or lemon. What will be in the culinary garden kitchen in May??
