March "madness" - record number of volunteers!

The Friends of the Walled Garden welcomed a record 20 volunteers on 6th March - a fantastic turnout. We were able to weed 3 rose beds, most of a herbaceous bed in addition to lots of rose pruning and general tidying. Enthusiastic new help from a group of 4 children and their parents helped our progress enormously. And Amy supplied us with delicious Madeleine cakes to keep up the energy levels!
