Perfect Pruning

In March we had a record number of volunteers, close to 25 people joined our group. Thanks again to Good Gym members for coming along. You can see the buzz of our volunteers in the photos above.

Under the expert guidance of head gardener George, we managed to prune the roses in all 4 rose beds and do some general tidying up. The main advice on the pruning was "be bold" and start from the centre to create the shape. It seems like we'll have some beautiful rose displays this year now they have been pruned to perfection.

And Amy provided her delicious baking again - this month it was blueberry muffins! See you next month for the spring session on April 2nd.
